CARH’s Executive Director to be Panelist on The Hill’s Affordable Housing Event on August 25th
Next week, Colleen Fisher, CARH’s Executive Director, will serve as a panelist at a virtual Affordable Housing Event moderated by Editor-At-Large, Steve Clemons of The Hill, a non-partisan news and media newspaper and website that reports on the business of Washington DC, while covering the inner-workings of Congress, political campaigns, as well as the nexus between politics and business. Colleen will speak on the need for affordable housing in rural communities, especially during the crunch of economic fallout due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Specifically, on Tuesday, August 25th at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, The Hill will host a virtual discussion with policymakers, housing advocates, and industry experts to explore what can be done to ensure all American have access to safe and affordable homes. At 1:40 p.m., Colleen and Sarah Wartell, President of the Urban Institute will join the panel discussion.
