Network.

Start your experience Monday morning and join the CRHDO Annual Golf Outing held at Fox Meadows Country Club in Medina, or the Annual CRHDO Bike Outing on the Ohio and Erie Canal Toepath Trail. For more information and to register, go to www.crhdo.org.

We welcome you to Cleveland Monday evening with a networking reception at the hotel. Visit exhibitor booths and chat with practitioners from across the state while you enjoy appetizers and drinks. This year we will also be hosting a silent auction to benefit the CRHDO Education Fund, a program that provides scholarships for post-high school education to residents in affordable rural housing communities.

Get Inspired.

Get motivated by Linda Brewer, of Full House Marketing, as she delivers a dynamic presentation that will help you tap into your strengths, provide you with new ideas, get you thinking and motivate you through humor, practical ideas and real-life examples. Get cheap and free marketing ideas that can deliver increased leads, tours and leases.

Learn.

Get the latest information on fair housing & protective classes from Joyce Hill with Ohio Development Services. Understand how you, as a manager, can assist in resolving maintenance issues, and what you need to do the job. Susan Barnett of Zeffert & Associates will provide information on compliance for both Rural Development and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs. Rural development issues include RD Handbook CFR 3560 regulations, occupancy requirements, certifications and tenant grievance. The LIHTC portion will include topics such as income verifications, student status, combining tax credits with other programs and state agency inspections. As always, attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the conference that will assist in complying with Rural Development's requirement for fair housing training.

Play.

Tuesday evening's reception promises to be a memorable one as we head to The Corner Alley for a night of "Life in the Fast Lane" as we take over this unique and hip entertainment venue with 16 lanes of bowling, two bars and buffet just one block from the hotel.
