This year we will also be hosting a silent auction to benefit the CRHDO Education Fund, a program that provides scholarships for post-high school education to residents in affordable rural housing communities.

Get the latest information on fair housing & protective classes from Joyce Hill with Ohio Development Services. Understand how you, as a manager, can assist in resolving maintenance issues, and what you need to do the job. Susan Barnett of Zeffert & Associates will provide information on compliance for both Rural Development and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs. Rural development issues include RD Handbook CFR 3560 regulations, occupancy requirements, certifications and tenant grievance. The LIHTC portion will include topics such as income verifications, student status, combining tax credits with other programs and state agency inspections. As always, attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the conference that will assist in complying with Rural Development's requirement for fair housing training.

Tuesday evening's reception promises to be a memorable one as we head to The Corner Alley for a night of "Life in the Fast Lane" as we take over this unique and hip entertainment venue with 16 lanes of bowling, two bars and buffet just one block from the hotel.

A limited number of rooms have been set aside for conference attendees at a rate of $149 a night. Government rate rooms are also available. Conference attendee self-parking rate will be half off posted parking rates. Rooms are first-come, first-serve, so call early.
